At 39, Mike Wirthensohn decided to fulfill a lifelong wish by starting his product design studies at HfG Offenbach in 2023, without a doubt, the best decision of his life. Since then, he has been following his true calling, working as a fulfilled designer.

Driven by high aesthetic standards, Wirthensohn creates objects that tell a story, whether through a profound underlying meaning, a subtle touch of humor, or a mix of both.

His distinctive work has quickly gained significant recognition: he is a winner of the Ambiente Talents 2025 and the LIT Design Award 2025. Furthermore, he has been selected for curated major fairs and global platforms, including SaloneSatellite 2025, Vienna Design Week 2025, the Young Design area at Light + Building 2026, and World Design Capital 2026.

Wirthensohn creates his designs deep from the bottom of his heart, with complete dedication. He is convinced that this value can be seen and felt in his work.
